There's been some confusion about the new setup Kickstarter has for upgrading your pledge to the Super Deluxe, so if you've been having trouble with this, here's how you make it work:
Visiting the project page and click the “Manage your pledge" button. On the following page, select "Change your pledge." On mobile click on the 3 dots in the upper right of your screen to find "Change your pledge." From here, you’ll have the option to add any add-on the Super Deluxe Upgrade!
We made a little screen cap video below so you can see what it looks like!
(Once again, don't stress if you can't make it work; this will all be confirmed in the pledge manager.)

Anyone who knows Manny's art knows he's always been a master of glow effects--but this time he and Damien have pulled out ALL the stops to provide this apocalyptic image of the Cult Leader, which will now be added as internal box art for all Super Deluxe editions of the game!

Yesterday night, designer Daniel continued to decimate Team Roxley by taking out Paul, and Adam took down Gavan in a VERY tight and highly contested game. CLICK HERE to watch the replay if you missed it!

Q. Will the water discs be debossed in the final version of the game?
A. YES. The prototype version that reviewers have been playing has silkscreened tokens. (This is the version Paul playtestedprior to the Kickstarter, so he was answering this incorrectly in the comments at first. We apologize for any confusion!)

If you watched the stream Saturday night, you might have seen this card sneak into play:
Protect your camps by getting at least 2 people out on your turn, and you can do damage for one water. (Couldn't get out more than one person this turn? Well, that's not much of a nest now is it?)
A huge thank you to Marvin Hegen of the Nerdlab podcast on card game design, for having Daniel on to talk about board game design, the future of the industry, and of course RADLANDS!
Game 1 - Dan vs. Paul! Dan's expertise served him well in round one against Kira... and Paul's win over Nish was partly due to a mistake in play that neither player noticed. Does this predict a second win for Dan? Will he continue carving a swathe through Team Roxley?
Game 2 - Gavan vs. Adam! Both are excellent strategists and are intimately familiar with the game, which carried them through on Saturday night... but who will win tonight? This should be a pretty epic showdown!

There was no question that we wanted to send this game to Dan Thurot. He's a critical fan of "dueling" card games and has covered many of them before, so we were biting our nails waiting to see what he had to say about Radlands.
Well, his thoughts are in... and we thinks he likes it! Check out his review below:
Need to recover from the beating you are taking? If you have these camps in play, they can help you out (assuming you haven't allowed them to be destroyed yet):
Restore your injured person, and send them right back into the fight for two of your precious water tokens!
Love raiding? For two water you can bring out or advance your Raider event. If it resolved, you can restore a damaged person for one water instead.
Team Roxley will be heading into the Radlands tomorrow for our team tournament, giving you the chance to see a whole bunch of gameplay action! We start at 4pm MT, and the bracket is as follows:
Gavan vs. Matt - One is our Director - but both are Radlands developers! These two friends codesigned Super Motherload and Brass: Birmingham, and have sat across from each other at many game tables in the past. Who will prevail this time?
Nish vs. Paul - The battle of Roxley's customer service reps! (Are customer service skills even useful in the Radlands? We'll find out tomorrow!)
George vs. Adam - Can the perceptiveness George brings to Oniro's epic photography and video work show him how to defeat the third member of the Radlands development team?
Kira vs. Daniel - Marketing wizard Kira will be the bravest of us all, taking on the game designer himself in the final game! Can any of us take him down? She will be the first to try...

Today's camp reveals are all about taking damage in exchange for a beneficial effect!
Two water lets you target ANY card for damage... but requires the sacrifice of one of your people.

This camp allows you to bring one of your damaged people back into the fight one last time before destroying them. To use the ability, pay its normal cost.
If you were with us for Steampunk Rally Fusion, you might recognize Thomas, the director of the Kickstarter trailer. We were beyond thrilled to work with him again for Radlands! If you aren't familiar with his work, he co-directed the award-winning short film Le Gouffre as part of Lightning Boy Studio and is currently working on several projects including their upcoming animated show Dinomancers!
You heard Thomas mention a few other amazing and talented people who were are part of creating the trailer.:
First, we have George, aka Oniro - George specializes in cinematic video, 3D animation, and photography, including a lot of the photography you see on our site, social media channels, and campaigns! Follow Oniro on Instagram here!
Next up we have the music composer, Daniel Deluxe. Inspired by videogames, horror movies, and anime from the 1980s and early '90s, Copenhagen-based producer Daniel Alexandrovich, who goes by the stage name Daniel Deluxe, started his music career in late 2013. The minimal style of hard-hitting kicks, dark basslines, and a touch of french electro made Daniel Deluxe a well-known figure in the electronic subgenre knows as Synthwave. You might recognize the next names mentioned from our previous games: Manny Trembley and Damien Mammoliti! In addition to doing all of the art for Radlands, Manny is the artist for all of the characters in the video, and Damien created the stunning environments for the video. (Manny is of course the art legend and cocreator behind Dice Throne, and we've had the pleasure of working with Damien on both versions of Brass, and the Santorini app).
You have also likely seen the work of the amazing design duo, Mr. Cuddington, who handled the animations. David Forest & Lina Cossette are French illustrators located in Warwick, Quebec. They founded the art studio Mr.Cuddington in 2014 with her husband David Forest, and together they specialize in creating illustrations for board games and have since provided illustrations for (amongst many others) Steampunk Rally & Steampunk Rally Fusion, Santorini, and Brass.

Round 2 - Monday - 6 PM (MST), the survivors of round 1 come together for the Semi-Finals!
