2021-05-20 - Two Weeks Closer To Playing!

TL;DR: Like the last update, there is little to report at this time. Production is still underway. No dates for deliverables have changed.

Once again, no news is good news! We continue to advance through the weekly schedule, towards product assembly and fulfillment.

The water disc molds mentioned in the last update needed to go through one additional round of samples/approvals, however this caused only a minor delay and is not expected to affect the schedule.

The target date to have finished manufacturing all game components is still June 10th. They will then be assembled into complete games, after which we can begin shipping.

2021-05-06 - Production Ongoing! Happy Revenge of the Sixth

TL;DR: Manufacturing is under way. No major news to report at this time. May the Force be with you all.

We promised to update you every two weeks, whether there was news to or not... which is what's happening this week, as there isn't really much to report.

All files and samples were approved and sent for production.

Deluxe Edition - The water disc molds are nearly finished being tooled and should be done by May 10. After this is complete, they will begin producing them.  The Synth cards, the rulebook, and the box are currently in the printing process.

Super Deluxe - The hazmats, vac trays, and boxes are all currently being manufactured.

The expected date for manufacturing to be complete is still June 10.  Once this is complete, the manufacturer will begin the assembly process.  Once that is complete, freight can begin!

2021-04-22 - Production Under Way! BackerKit "Soft-Closes" & Bills Tomorrow

TL;DR: Production is UNDER WAY! BackerKit closes and bills tomorrow, but you will not be penalized if your survey is not yet filled out (as long as you get it done prior to fulfillment beginning). Happy Earth Day, everyone!

During the last update, Paul and Adam had different schedules as to when BackerKit was going to close and bill. We apologize for this miscommunication.

The correct, and updated answer, is that they were both right... "sort of". What this actually means:

BackerKit will bill and lock down pledges for all completed surveys tomorrow. Tonight, and early tomorrow, you should still be able to access and change them, using your original survey link.

If you haven't filled out your survey yet, don't panic! We encourage you to get it done as quickly as you can, but this delay will not endanger or delay your pledge, unless you leave it until closer to the fulfillment date.

If you need to make changes after your pledge is locked (such as add-ons, or a new shipping address), this is also still fine. Please email [email protected] with the details and we will be glad to help.

All the Radlands files and samples have been approved, and are in full production!

Because of the colorization process involved with neoprene, it can often take multiple samples to get the colors right. We have now approved the Hazmats for production, which should begin shortly.  The vac tray and box are currently being manufactured.

What's The Deadline To Fill Out My BackerKit Survey?

We don't yet have an exact date yet for this. It will probably be a couple of months from now. We will announce this in a future update.

When Does The Preorder Close?

It won't be until after the fulfillment of the game.

What If I STILL Don't Have My Survey?

We're currently going through a bunch of requests people have already sent in about this (and Paul will be going through the comments over the next 24 hours, too) to make sure these are all addressed. A couple of possible reasons this might have happened:

- You did not pledge for a full copy of Radlands. (As per the campaign FAQ.)

- You are in a country we can't ship to. (You will receive an email soon, if you are in this category.)

- BackerKit has been sending you emails, but you haven't been getting them. Apparently some email domains have accidentally marked BackerKit emails as 'spam', so the survey emails are getting dropped before the customer gets them. We've identified a handful of customers in this situation and we can manually send you your survey if we find you are one of them. We are working with BackerKit to resolve this issue.

If you have *already* messaged us about a missing survey, please be patient as we work through the inbox; we will get to you as soon as possible. Sending additional emails about the same subject will move your request to the back of the system queue, so please only do this if you have corrections or changes to make.

If your survey is missing and you *haven't* already messaged us, we can help you more quickly if you include your full name, Kickstarter alias, and email address. (Many people have a simple Kickstarter handle, e.g. "Kevin", and there are hundreds of Kevins in our system so it can sometimes take a bit of detective work to make sure we have the right person.)

2021-03-11 - AppleID Issues Cleared! Some BackerKit FAQs

TL;DR: All regular surveys are out! We are following up with any remaining special cases. Some FAQs below.

An Apple A Day... Keeps Your Survey Away?

Some customers with AppleIDs were unable to access their surveys, as BackerKit had imported the wrong email address for them. We're happy to report that this problem has been solved. We were able to run a search for all affected email addresses and manually correct them all, after which survey links were resent.

Filling Out With Brass Fillouts

Some backers have requested the 22 chip Brass fillout to be added to the pledge manager. We have confirmed that yes, we can do this! They will be added later this week.

Early Billing?

BackerKit billing is normally done closer to the fulfillment date (we'll announce it more specifically in a future update), but we've had some customers asking if they can get it done immediately, so as not to worry about having to pay later. Our team can help with this! If you'd prefer to take care of it right away, message us at [email protected] and we'll do this for you.

For our supporters who also backed Steampunk Rally Fusion, we've got good news!

FunAgain has confirmed the receipt of the last missing shipment. All US original backer pledges have now been packed and either have already had tracking sent, or will have it this week. Preorders from the second wave were uploaded today and are expected to be processed tomorrow and early next week. Stock for all Canadian backers has also been sorted and packed and is being shipped to Hubtrotter now.
